Summer Camp Curriculum Writer/Camp Director
Position will design the camp curriculum, schedule the activities, and directly run the camp. Camp enrollment will be a minimum of ten students with the possibility of adding more students, as space allows.
Bachelors degree in science or science education preferred. Summer camp experience preferred. Salary rate is contracted at $20/hr. with 40 hours during the specific week of camp and another 10 hours of planning and prep prior to the week and days, for a total of 50 hours/camp. Positions will be filled by mid-June with applications accepted until positions are filled. This contracted position has the flexibility to apply for one, two, or all three summer camps:
Aerospace Camp: July 11-15
Outdoor Explorers: July 25-29
S.T.E.A.M. Camp: August 8-12
Docents (full-time or part-time)
Work with guests and visitors at HSC. Present demonstrations on-site, as well as at schools, library, and other community locations and functions.
Director of Visitor Experience
Position includes supervision, evaluation, and management of staff, implementation and direct services of programming (clubs and camps), curriculum development and instruction, and other duties related to guest and visitor experiences. Bachelors degree in science or science education preferred.
