Events add to the fun at HSC!
Every day is a fun day of learning at HSC, and throughout the year we have additional fun! Let us be the site of your next birthday party, join us as we run with the dinosaurs, stop by on Halloween for BooFest, and ring-in a New Year with us! For the adults, enjoy HSC transformed into an elegant night out during our annual e-cubed fundraiser event.
End the year, start the new year with HSC! NoiseMAKERs is our family New Year’s Eve party!
Featuring hands-on “maker” activities from 11am to 2pm with a special “Noon Year’s Eve” ball drop!
This event is FREE for HSC members or with paid admission to the exhibit floor!
HSC's Birthday Party
Birthdays are celebrated annaully, and HSC celebrates it's "birthday"with the community, in honor of its first day open to the public - March 6, 1994.
Admission is always free for our birthday party!
We encourage you to support HSC by donating
"throwback admission prices,"which are the rates from
when we opened our doors in 1994:
Children $2, Adults $3, and family maximum $10.
Come enjoy the exhibit floor, demonstrations,
cake, ice cream, and so much more!
What would Halloween be without the benefits of science? BooFest is held October 31 during after-school hours. During this time, HSC is open FREE to the public, with treats and games abound on the balcony and around the exhibit floor.
It is a spook-tacular, fun-filled evening where families, kids, and volunteers share thrills and amusement.
HSC is proud to provide this safe, family-friendly activity
free for the community.
e-cubed annual fundraiser
Join us for the 12th Annual e3 (pronounced e-cubed) fundraiser at Headwaters Science Center on Saturday, February 27, 2021. This year, your home may be the location that hosts an entertaining night in, filled with gourmet food, a signature cocktail, live music, and an amazing dessert show. Stay tuned to learn more and for tickets.
Gourmet entrees are created by chefs from area restaurants, providing this unique elevated epicurean experience (hence the name, e3).
