Headwaters Science Center
HeadwatersScienceCenter
invites you and yourgroup to
visit on a field trip. HSC is an exciting destination for your next
classroom adventure. Whether you spend a couple of hours or the whole
day, we want to make your visit a special one. You can explore the exhibit

go on a scavenger hunt through HSC, and visit the gift
shop. We even have an on-line self test, called Challenge
Activities, to help evaluate the student's visit. Bring along your lunch, for we have an upstairs area available
for you to use. We want you to have a positive, educational visit, so
call (218) 444-4472 to set up your visit to HSC. Call early as dates can
fill up quickly. Check the calendar to help select your
day.

SID The Science Kid
Science Curriculum Kits For Teachers
HSC offers the following teaching materials in the form of
classroom-tested kits
that are available on a rental basis. The rental rate is $40 for a two week period. The
GEMS type is associated with
activity guides and the HSC type is available at HSC and not
associated with GEMS activity guides. Kits showing the dark green
grade level are specifically suited for that level, while the
light green indicates that improvising or modifying the kit will
be necessary to make it suitable for that grade level. Those with a
pink highlight require pre-training prior to checkout and include
field gear such as waders, nets and other materials.
