Science Club kids learn about astronomy from HSC staff person.

Rockets, bicycle science, reverse engineering (take apart!), magnetism, Star Lab, crime scene science, and “The Cake Bake-off”! Sound fun and interesting?

HSC will again be offering Summer Science Club. With the exceptions of July 10th and 31st, it will be held from 2-4 pm each Thursday, June 12 through August 28.

This program is geared toward children ages 8-13. Topics will cover a wide range of physical science and culminate in an outdoor rocket launch.

Punch cards will be available for either 5 or 10 sessions. Nonmembers’ cost is $50 for any 5 sessions and $95 for all 10 Members’ price is $40 for any 5 sessions and $75 for all 10.

HSC will also be offering summer programs featuring “science you can touch” for younger children. Watch for details on these programs.
